UPTET 2026 Answer Key Released: Objection Window Open Until July 14

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the answer key from the official website and raise objections against any discrepancies until July 14, 2026 .

The UPTET 2026 examination, conducted from July 2 to July 4 across 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh, witnessed an impressive attendance of over 17.7 lakh candidates out of nearly 20 lakh registered applicants .

How to Access the UPTET 2026 Answer Key

To raise an objection, candidates must:

3. Upload valid supporting documents from standard textbooks or NCERT/SCERT materials

4. Submit the objection and download the confirmation receipt 

The commission has made it clear that objections submitted through any mode other than the official online portal will not be accepted .

AI-Powered Surveillance and Fair Conduct

This year's UPTET marked several firsts. It was conducted after a four-year gap and was the first examination administered by the newly established UPESSC . The commission deployed advanced AI-enabled cameras at all exam centres across 955 locations, with a central control room monitoring proceedings in real-time .

According to UPESSC Chairman Prashant Kumar, the AI monitoring system successfully detected 44 cases of impersonation during the examination . Additionally, the commission appointed retired IAS and IPS officers as observers in all 60 districts to ensure transparency and fairness .

What Happens After the Objection Window?

Once the objection window closes on July 14, the commission's expert panel will review all submitted challenges. Valid objections will lead to revisions in the answer key. The final answer key, which will be binding and not open to further challenges, is expected to be released in late July 2026 .

The UPTET 2026 results will be prepared based on the final answer key. Candidates who qualify will receive the UPTET eligibility certificate, a mandatory requirement for teaching positions in primary and upper primary government schools across Uttar Pradesh .
